Founded in 1977, the Tri-State Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) serves the Huntington, West Virginia; northeast Kentucky; and southern Ohio region. Our mission is to provide our members with the latest information on human resource management developments, opportunities for conferences, cooperative research, and a platform to exchange information. We also support standards of quality and excellence in human resource management.

Tri-State SHRM members are individuals who, by reason of their occupation, are directly involved in managing, administrating, developing, or studying human resources. In addition, many of our members are managers and business owners who wish to stay up-to-date on the latest legal developments and best practices in human resource management.

Our chapter has a long history of excellence, having received both the SHRM Merit Award and the Superior Merit Award. We are excited about the future of our chapter, and we invite you to join us.
